Great Minds Campaign

Announcing the Great Minds Campaign, a collaboration between Sime Darby Properties and Yayasan Sime Darby with MIASA and the Malaysian Mental Health Association (MMHA).

This campaign will run for 5 months focusing on educating and providing awareness to children, teens, youths and adults through the many workshops, programmes, forums and exhibition.

This will then lead to the Great Minds Ride; a charity cycling event for Mental Health, the first one in Malaysia.

FINE: Frightened, Isolated, Numb, and Exhausted.

FINE: Frightened, Isolated, Numb and Exhausted’ is a documentary project in collaboration with Mental Illness Awareness and Support Association (MIASA) and MindaKami. It aims to portray how a mental illness support group is conducted and what it feels like to have mental illness from the perspectives of patients themselves.

The documentary acts as a platform for them to speak up and reduce social stigma on this issue. The theoretical framework used in this research project is PERMA theory (Positive Emotion, Engagement, Relationship, Meaning, Accomplishment) which is applied to analyse the data gained from the focus group discussion among mental illness patients.
